General information on Flatulence
Flatulence is when gas is emitted from the dog’s anus. This condition is caused by eating highly fermentable foods such as onions, beans, cauliflower, cabbage, and soybeans, drinking large quantities of milk and swallowing large amounts of air by eating too fast.
Symptoms of Flatulence
The symptoms of flatulence are an unpleasant smell around the dog, often combined with noise.
Treatments for Flatulence
Normally flatulence can be cured by changing the dog’s diet, or by avoiding feeding him the food(s) that cause the problem.
