General information on Ringworm
Ringworm is a fungal infection of the skin. Spores of these fungi may be windborne or found in the soil. Care should be taken so you and your family are not infected.
Symptoms of Ringworm
The symptoms of Ringworm are scratching and round areas of hair loss, with the visible skin becoming scaly and raised around the edge of a lesion.
Treatments for Ringworm
Only your vet can prescribe effective treatment for Ringworm. Washing the dog in fungicidal wash prescribed by your vet will help kill the fungi.
