Zinc-responsive Dermatosis - dog health experiences

Zinc-responsive Dermatosis dog experience
Dog Owner:
Connie
Location: Clarksville Ohio, USA

My dog Jacy a shephard/husky gets a raw (looses his black pigmentaion ) nose and sometimes when healing it is cracked. I have noticed it happens when he is not feeling up to par. His last incounter is just now healing. The funny thing about it this time is, he was fine until we had to go back to work. We were on vacation last week and spent the entire week at home with him. He dosn't have to go to his bed ( cage ) when we dont have to get up the next mornig, he gets to sleep in our room, usally under the bed. The first morning when going back to work, and Jacy in his cage we woke up to diarrhea and his nose looking if it should be on rudolph. I beleive in my dog and maybe yours it has alot to do with stress. Like the story I just told you. Jacy was fine playfull and happy the entire week up until the night before we had to go to work the next day. He was not a happy camper having to have to go to "his" bed and not up with us. I am now going to keep him in HIS routine so his stress level dosn't change. I am hopefull this will work..
