Pharyngitis dog experience

my 4 year old toy poodle has had some random coughing and gagging then vomiting yellow foamy liquid for the past couple of years. She is a very picky eater but still eats every day. She loves to play ball, take walks and visit with neighbor dogs. After she has one of her gagging/vomiting spells she seems tired for a while. Our vet said dogs do this sometimes but I am taking her in tomorrow because her symptoms seem like this condidtion. We are asking for a sonagram to be sure.

My 4 year old Miniature Schnauzer became ill on the day she gave birth to 6 puppies (she has had another litter previously and all went well). She was gagging and coughing and we took her to the vet. The puppies fed initially but my dog had to stay at the vets for treatment which was later confirmed as pharyngitis. We had to hand rear the puppies but so far 5 of them have died. Having seen that this condition can be caused by an infection in the dog it may explain why the puppies did not thrive. It has been a terrible experience and one I shall never get over. The puppies were beautiful.

My dog has been coughing for about off and on 4 years. Gagging and spitting up foamy white. I have spent hundreds on veterarian and she can't find a reason for this. She prescribed steroid pills he took them for 3 years and continued to cough but not as bad, finally began to cough and gag again full force while on them until I stopped buying them every month for 50.00 a pop.Multiple chest and throat x-rays...and heart show nothing. Vet said give benedryl for an allergy, he continues to cough.I do not know what to do any more, had vacinations for kennel cough x2, I cannot find anything for him but comfort measures, Benedryl alternating with robitussin dm which allows him to rest for short periods between coughing. I feel so bad for him but no one can seem to help. I give him vit c and flaxseed oil which seems to help a little for short periods of time, at least for the throat, (it must get so sore). once comfortable for a couple of hours all he can do is catch up on some sleep. he is exausted 24 hours a day! Thats my story.
