Quick Answers To Your Dog's Medical Symptoms
Saturday 21st of October 2017

Is Your Dog Lonely?

Your dog may be experiencing separation anxiety. Left alone in the house, a nervous dog may chew, bark, howl, or soil the floor. This behavior is common in dogs that have not been properly socialized during puppyhood or that have known several homes.

HOW CAN YOU HELP YOUR LONELY DOG?

Before leaving the house, provide your dog with a special treat, such as a favorite toy that you have rubbed in your hands, or give him a yummy marrowbone. Do not make a big production or fuss when you leave. You may also want to restrict your dog to a small area such as a dog crate (Only for short periods of time.) Include favorite toys to play with and turn on a radio or television to keep your dog company.

Make sure the dog gets plenty of exercise and personal attention from it's owner.
